I am trying to help out my girlfriend with a computer problem... She has just
set up a wireless LAN between two PC both running XP home sp2. Both are on
the same workgroup "HOME" and both have the windows fire wall enabled with
exceptions. File Sharing and Printer sharing is one of those exceptions.

Whenever I try to view the workgroup it gives me the following error on
both computers.

Home is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network
resource... The List of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.

Also when i use "net view" it gives me a 6118 error.

When i brought my laptop over, which is able to view a workgroup on my
wireless network at home, it was able to view the workgroup with no problems.

Is there a setting that must be changed to remedy this problem.

Thanks,

Erik
