Steve,

Thanks for your reply. All settings are set up as suggested. Whe I run the
ipconfig /all command, under node type the desktops say "unknown" and the
laptop states "mixed" is the following how to fix it?

open that registry key, create a DWORD
value called "NodeType", and set it to 1 for "Broadcast" or 4 for
"Mixed".
