I have a laptop with XP pro sp2 and a desktop w/ 98se, they are sharing a DSL
connection through a 2wire Homeportal 1000HG, desktop is the main PC and is
connected USB, laptop is ethernet. I have enabled file sharing and printer
sharing on the desktop and on the laptop. The printer is on the desktop. From
the laptop I CAN access the shared drive on the desktop and open files. On
the laptop I can see the printer as a network device but can't print to it.
Word acts like it's going to print and then says can't print, check cables,
update driver, make sure printer is on etc...
Please help! Thanks!!
Steve
