I don't know if this thread still active, but it seem to closely reflect my
own problem.
I have:
-a Win 98 SE computer (can't really upgrade it, very old pentium II
processor);
-a D-Link router(connected to previous via ethernet cable)
-a new computer with XP SP2 and a UBS wireless adapter.
The wireless internet connection works fine, problem is with file and
printer sharing between the two computers. I 've been thru all the checks
mentionned in the previous posts (TCP/IP, simpe file sharing enabled, etc)
and here's where I am:

The XP computer can «see» the W-98 computer on the network, but when I Try
to access it, I get a message about not having sufficient privilege and
checking with my admin. (eg, me).

So, what's next?
