I've done both... I have the firewall turned off... I have file and print
sharing turned on... I can ping the Pro box... I can even see it on the
network under View Networked Computers. When I click on it to access.. it
says I do not have permission. But the XP box can move files and folders
around on all the other PCs even move files to itself. I also tried setting
up the classic network configes in teh Folder Options in Control Panel... I
have Everyone as the user and all permissions granted... but guess what?
Nothing can access the Pro box still... I wish I had another copy for Pro to
test further.
