My ISP is a wireless ISP, kind of the same principals as
cell phone technology, it has a "radio" or gateway that
is connected to my ethernet card. There was nothing to
really set up on this computer except setting the TCP/IP
settings to auto configured. I get the default gateway,
DNS servers, and subnet mask all from my ISP. They have
sent me an lsp repair tool as well as a winsock repair
tool. I also have done an uninstall of the winsock
registry deletion and re-install as well as re-installing
TCP/Ip over itself. The other computer that I tested it
on to make sure that it wasn't the ISP's equipment took
no set up or setting changes for it to work.
