Hi, everybody

I have a XP Pro machine(server) connected to internet through ADSL
modem. XP machine has ip 10.0.0.2 on this interface and modem
(10.0.0.138) acts as a gateway/NAT to internet.
I also have a laptop (XP Pro) connected to the XP box through
different NIC and addresses 192.168.0.1 (Server) - 192.168.0.2
(laptop). The laptop is accessing internet through ICS.

I have setup the ppp server on the "server" machine since i need to
dialin with the laptop when i am away. Infact the connection is
negotiated ok and server-laptop get 192.168.x.x addresses on
255.255.255.255 mask and i am able to access folders and files on
server. Also laptop has "checked the use default gateway on remote
system".

Could you please help me access internet as well? I am able to ping
modem (10.0.0.138) from laptop when i establish the ppp connection.

In this scenario what should the gateway of the ppp connection be to
correctly forward packets to laptop? My XP (server) routing table
showes that the ppp interface (for example 192.168.0.3 subnet
255.255.255.255) has as gateway 127.0.0.1. Is this correct?

THank you for your help
Nik
