I recently setup a notebook system for a friend with XP Home SP2, during
which I had it connected to my home network to do the SP2 download etc. Now
that she has the machine in isolation each time she goes to control panel the
search torch comes up and it takes a while for the control panel icons to
appear. I have looked around the support sites and the thought occured to me
that the system may still be searching for my network shares. Is this a
likely cause and if so how do we fix it?
Thanks
