Oh I'm so glad I'm not the only one having this problem.
I have a home network with 3 computers, one directly
connected to the internet and the other indirectly
through internet sharing. Roughly 1/2 the time the
network is working, then suddenly from no where printer
sharing, file sharing, and the internet will just die.
All of these services would just suddenly start working
again. some time later. This has made me very
frustrated. What ultimately worked for me was
uninstalling Service Pack 2 on the one computer directly
on the internet. Suddenly after that everything worked
again. I'm still very upset about having had to do that
and am hoping there is a better solution. The other 2
computers still have sp2, it only seems to matter if this
computer with the internet connection has it installed.
Needless to say I never had prorblems like this untill
Service Pack 2 for XP.
