Network Displays

How do you get the main computer to show up on the network
neighborhood? I only see icons for the networked PC and
it's folders that I'm sharing. When I mark the folders on
the main computer for sharing I thought they would show up
under the computer name with icons just like the other
PC. Am I not doing something right?
