Tom,
MSConfig gives you the ability to selectively disable loading of components when
booting in normal (non-safe) mode. You can, at your discretion, do a:
- Normal startup
- Minimal startup
- Selective startup (anywhere between the two), and selecting specific
components to include.
You also might benefit from defining your problem more precisely, and someone
here might be able to help you. Saying "doesn't seem to be able to connect"
isn't giving anyone too much of a clue.
