Try this: Open TCP/IP propeties of the connection, Advanced button,
Options tab, TCP/IP filtering properties, Check Enable filtering and
then select Permit All for all protocols and ports. I know this affects
connecting if the Windows firewall is disabled, but not if it affects
selected ports or protocols.
