New Dell 4600 is running XP Home. Connected to Lynksys
wireless router (802.11g). ISP is RoadRunner. Running
Norton Internet Security (came with the computer) and
ZoneAlarm Pro firewall (had this before I got the new
computer). XP internet connection security firewall is
turned off. I can connect to www.att.net, get into my e-
mail account and read but can't send or delete messages.
Some web pages won't load at all (get "cannot locate
server or dns error" message)--including
support.microsoft.com and www.nc,rr.com. Other pages load
just fine. Any ideas? I don't even know who to call for
help (Dell?MIcrosoft?RoadRunner?) Old computer running
Windows ME and using a Lynksys 802.11b wireless adapter is
able to get on the internet and every thing works just
fine.
