Go to Start | Run, type "devmgmt.msc" in the box, and click OK. In
Device Manager, un-install the wireless network adapter. Then, reboot
and let Windows XP detect and re-install it.
If that doesn't fix the problem, call Dell back and insist that they
either repair the computer under warranty or replace it with a new
one.
