When I initially got my router/laptop card last year, I had no problem
setting up my home network. As I recall, I just set up the hardware, ran the
wizards and everything seemed to work (Internet sharing, file & printer
sharing, etc.).

Since then, however, after having some problems with my laptop card and
having to reinstall it, I can't seem to get the home network running
correctly again. I keep re-running the wizard (first on the desktop, then on
the laptop), but only the Internet sharing seems to be working.

Here are some details:

1) Desktop is running XP Pro, Laptop is running XP Home (all patches EXCEPT
for Service Pack 2 have been installed)

2) Using a D-Link 624 router with desktop connected via wire (Ethernet?) and
laptop connected via wireless card

3) I've enable sharing for the computer connected to desktop, and all
folders I want to share on both computers

4) Desktop "sees" the laptop, but if I click on any of the folders or on the
laptop icon (in View Workgroup Computers) it says something about not having
rights or permission or something (which didn't happen when I first set the
network up)

5) Laptop doesn't see desktop at all

6) Printer cannot be found when running add printer wizard.

I'm wondering if I've inadvertently set up more than one network? Please
help! I'm getting very frustrated! Thanks.
