Computers don't see each other in Workgroup: SP2?

I hope someone can help me out. Got two computers connected to a router
with the router connected to a cable modem. I've got various shares set up
on each sysytem, including a printer. Everything worked fine. I could
browse the network and see the other computer, print on the other system,
and the other computer could see me just fine as well. I obtained SP2. I
like to reinstall WinXP from time to time so I have a clean environment.
It's been ages since I'd done that so I figured with the new service pack
I'd reinstall the WinXP and then install SP2 which I did. The other machine
doesn't have SP2 installed, yet.

Now, I can't get the computers to see each other on the network. The newly
installed computer with SP2 can access the internet just fine, as well as
the router, as well as the other non-sp2 computer. However, neither
computer can see each other. I've double checked everything, such as make
sure both machines are part of the same workgroup, etc. No idea what's
wrong.

Any idea anyone? Do I need to have SP2 on both machines?! I've networked
like this for a long time, never had problems. I can get on the Internet
just fine on teh SP2 system so I doubt it's a driver/hardware issue. Again,
neither system finds each other. Sucks when I have to print something.
I've got to put the file on a disk and take it to the other system now.
