Missing LAN icon

I work in a Netware environment where I have
successfully created a push that will install, but not
select, the Client for MS Networks and File & Print
Sharing for MS Networks. These are elements needed for
our XP workstations to successfully communicate with our
SUS servers. The problem is that after the push runs, the
LAN icon under the properties of My Network Places
disappears. I know all the protocols and services still
exist, due to the fact that I can connect to our network
and the workstation receives patches from the SUS server.

We do not use any type of group policy, so the push
contains only registry modifications. Is there a registry
setting that hides the LAN icon located in the properties
of Mu Network Places? I have only discovered the registry
setting that determines if the LAN icon appers in the
system tray. Any advice on this topic would be greatly
appreciated.
