Mixed DHCP & Static IP's

Hello,
Hope it is O.K to post this here.
I'm about to change my network configuration due to getting DSL.
Is it possible to have Static IP's and DHCP on a home network?
This is what I would like to achieve:
DSL Router (192.168.1.1 DHCP "ON" set at 192.168.1.200 offer 3 addresses)
3Com WAP (192.168.1.254 DHCP is set "Off" and plugged into DSL Router)
PC 1 plugged directly into DSL Router fixed IP: 192.168.1.10
PC 2 Wireless link fixed IP: 192.168.1.11
PC 3 Wireless link fixed IP: 192.168.1.12
PC 4 Wireless link fixed IP: 192.168.1.13
I will also connect with Wireless with 2 laptops, and PDA set with DHCP
Hopefully they will pick up 1 off the 3 addresses from the DHCP on the Router.
Will this work with Fixed and DHCP or is one or the other not mixed??
PC's are XP Home & Pro, PDA is CE2002
