I use a nokia 3650 phone to connect to net on my
notebook which has windows xp professional installed
via infrared port.To connect to net I use a gprs
connection provided by my mobile phone company.I
installed the required drivers and configured the
settings.I could easily connect to the net. However while
browsing, suddenly the connection slows down and I start
getting page not found found errors. When I disconnect,it
takes a very long time for the connection to disconnect.
When I try to reconnect,I either get error 633( port
cannot be opened) or I get connected but no pages open.In
connection status window the the bytes sent are
increasing but bytes recieved are usually stuck at a
couple f hundred bytes!
What ever I do to correct this does not work. This
includes reinstalling the modem etc.
However if I restore my system to a time before the whole
problem occured it connects and works fine.
But the problem surfaces again and I have to restore the
system again. So I praactically have to restore my system
everytime I connect to the net.
Please help.
