Browsing Network Neighborhood reboots XP machines.

I have a small network with several win98se machines, a
winXP Home machine and a winXP Pro machine connected to an
NT domain. (10mbps) In Explorer when the XP home machine
tries to browse the XP pro machine or a computer on
another workgroup the XP home machine reboots. (the
flashlight comes up in Explorer, then the black screen
with the memory count down) It can browse the PDC, the
BDC and the other win98 machines fine.

The XP pro machine reboots when I try to browse any
machine other than the PDC or BDC. The win98 machines and
the servers have no problem browsing either of the XP
machines or any other machine.

One machine is a new Dell Pentium 4 and the other is an
AMD XP1900. Both have built in net cards. All machines
have IPX and TCP/IP running. The Dell came with XP home,
the AMD was win98 and worked fine before upgrading to XP
Pro. All MS recommended patches are installed.

I thought the big sell on XP was that it protects it's
self against hardware/software errors.

Any suggestions? (maybe go back to win98??) :)
