Hi everybody,
This is driving me crazy as I cannot get it to work.
Here is the situation:
We have a DSL connection shared with the whole network (5 boxes)
No IP addresses on any of the machines.
All machines are connected to the hub, which has the modem/router
(siemens SpeedStream 5200) connected to it as well.
So any machine (xp at least) I plug in the hub automatically are
connected to the web.
One of the machines (XP Pro) has a modem which I configured to receive
connections from a dialup member of the network.
Any machines dialing in will gain access to the network just by
suplying the given password, but I cannot figure how to share the
existing DSL connection with the dialup user.
I remember that by having two or more network adapters will display a
"sharing" tab on the network properties, but I'm not sure this is the
way out, because the user is connecting to the network through a
dialup modem, not a network card.
Can it be done at all?
If so, how can I configure it?
Thanks a lot for your attention.
