I hope I'm using the correct terminology here in the subject line -
I have an XP Pro machine that has been getting the Windows Updates regularly
and is thus, fairly up to date. It has been protected by Norton Systemworks
and Personal Firewall.
Out of the blue, it stopped being able to translate web addresses into IP
addresses. I can go to a web address if I know the actual IP address, but
not if I type in the standard web address. This problem also prevents use of
Outlook Express to send and receive.
Any ideas as to what I might do to solve this problem?
