Dear Chuck,

The network from the XP to Home did work. I was able to see everything that I had shared on Home.

After reading, researching, and everything, I finally broke down and called Microsoft. I spoke to a very knowledgable guy and we are up and working.

We disabled SFS (simple file sharing). After that, I went to the folder that I wanted the Home computer to get to. Went in Sharing & Security, then the Security tab is there after you disable SFS. Click, ADD, put in EVERYONE and gave him Read/Write. Not sure, but may have Full Control rights. Anyway, this WORKS! I have a document from Microsoft. We tested the network. We pinged each others computers before that. Then, after we did the security thing, everything works..

I understand how the XP Home shares. Now I know about XP Pro. (a little). :)

Chuck-----Thanks for everything. You at least tried to help. For that, I am grateful.

Have a good day! :)

Derek
