Hi Luke.
Many thanks for you help,. Unfortunately the problem has not been resolved. I followed all the procedures you mentioned and then reinstalled the network using the Wizard. I got the same result. To check that it was not ZoneAlarm which was causing the problem I actually shut it down on the laptop but still no result. When I look in "My Network Places" all I see is the computer I am currently working on.
Any further ideas or suggestions would be gratefully accepted as this is slowly driving me nuts.
