Run the Network Setup Wizard on the XP computer to fully enable file
sharing. That's usually all that's needed.

If that doesn't solve the problem, please reply to this message in the
news group (not by E-mail) with more information to help other people
understand the problem:

1. What is the complete and exact text of the password prompt?

2. What version (Home or Professional) of XP do you have?

3. If you have XP Professional, is simple file sharing enabled or
disabled?

4. Have you changed any settings for XP's Guest account? If so, what
have you changed?
