I have a simple network of two machines Compaq (XPPro)
and Acer (98SE) working through a hub. Protocol is
TCP/IP, both machines can ping each other and can use the
shared printer connected to the Compaq. The Acer machine
can read and write files to and from the Compaq. However
when trying to connect to the Acer from the Compaq all
that is achieved is the 'Access Denied' message. The
network and all components worked successfully before
upgrading the Compaq OS to XPPro.
Can anybody suggest a fix?
Thanks in advance for help
