Networking with XP Home

You probably have the Internet Connection Firewall turned
on. Right click on the network connection, go to the far
right tab, and uncheck "Protect my computer from...". See
if that makes it work. If so, then you will need to
configure the ICF to allow your local network in. I'm not
sure how to do that, but I know there's an article in the
KB.
