Need help with server cutting off clients

Last week I upgraded the users at my office from 2k to
XP. I first upgraded 2 users and within 2 days I had a
problem with them being dropped from the XP file server
(LaCie network attached storage server with embedded XP).
Thinking this was random, I setup everyone else. Now I'm
having problems with everyone losing connection to the
server almost on a daily basis. It requires me to reboot
the server. The users will suddenly not be able to see
the server (and everyone's computer locks up for 2
minutes or so), but I can access the server via remote
desktop...not http or Network Neighborhood.

Anyone have any thoughts where to start? On Friday I had
this happen 4 times during the day.

Thanks,
Tom
