Two issues:
1. getting a network connection through the firewall (get help from the
IT folks at the office)
2. running some sort of file sync or copy program.
If you can get a network connection between the two (the firewall allows
this?), then using robocopy (available free from Microsoft in the
Windows 2003 Server Resource Kit, but work great on XP) works well.
It's a bit more sophisticated than xcopy.
Just set it up with the appropriate switches in a batch file and then
run it when you want. I use this technique for synchronising web sites
developed on the laptop with the pre-production copies on another machine.
Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
