internet access

I have recently installed Windows XP pro version as an upgrade over Windows XP Home. I have a laptop with Windows XP home edition and I am using a ethernet hub to conect the two computers. My pc with xp pro is the host computer and the laptop with xp home is the client. Before installing xp pro on the pc I could transfer files and view the internet from the client computer, but after installation of xp pro on the host computer I can only transfer files from computer to computer and can't connect to the internet from the client computer and do not know why. Network wizard will not run at all. Please help.
