the built in firewall is under: right click my network
places/properties/right click local area
connection/properties/select the advanced tab.

I'm afraid I don't know how to configure the ports though.

>Hello, I'm trying to first figure out how to disable my
windows xp firewall (or even find out if it's enabled at
all) but when i right click on network connections i get
a window showing me m network bridge, lan adapter and
wireless adapter. I try to right click on each to see if
i can find the check box for the firewall but I don't
find any. I have a Sony viao GRT100 with built it
wireless card and I am connected to my university's lan
network. I started playing Ragnarok online a couple of
days ago but since last night I couldn't connect at all.
My connection speed is very fast and when i checked
ragnarok's bbs i didn't see anyone else having problems.
According the game's site I need to have ports 21, 80,
5000 and 6900 open but when i ran a port scanner today i
found that 21, 80 are closed while port 5000 is under
stealth firewall. How did this happen? Also, can i open
those ports?

login and firewall test.
