Yes, you can share the ADSL modem (USB).

Run the Network Setup Wizard on the Vaio and tell it to share that
connection. If it tries to create a network bridge, don't let it --
tell it to use only the wireless connection for the home network. Run
the Network Setup Wizard on the tablet and tell it that the computer
connects to the Internet through another computer on the network.

Those steps should enable ICS and get file sharing working properly,
too.
