A strange one this: New laptop computer and XP Pro.

If I receive an email with a blank "from" and "subject
line" (I get a lot of junk mail!) I get "Your server has
unexpectedly terminated the connection" with error code
0X800CCC0F, and won't download the rest of the emails.
The only way to get these remaining emails is to use my
old computer and transfer accross. I am using Norton
Internet Security but this problem still occurs with this
and Norton antivirus switched off.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Steve
