Running NIS & NAV. Initially disabled NIS and turned of XP Firewall ( never
normally use it anyway). Yesterday removed NIS and NAV completely from
client, but still the same result. It's really weird, can do everything but
connect to the Net. The client is my son's PC, as far as I know, no major
changes have been made since it worked, possibly any XP updates as it is on
Autoupdate, I guess I could be radical and system restore back to when it
worked, I would still like to know what caused it for curiosity if nothing
else
