An individual was allowed to take their work PC with them
when they retired. The PC was running XP Pro and was
part of an NT4.0 domain. Once the PC was taken home, the
user tried to set up the PC for his home workgroup. The
PC was set up with the same workgroup as the other two
PCs he already had. His PC was able to access resources
on the other two PCs. The two existing PCs could not
access anything on the PC he took from work. Is there a
procedure that needs to be followed in order to get the
work PC to network properly with the existing PCs? I
went through many steps and the last resort was to format
the PC. Once that was done, it worked just fine with the
existing PCs. Two other individuals are leaving the
company at the end of the month and I do not want to go
through two more formats.

Thanks
