I have XP Pro running on one machine, connected to the internet via cable
modem. I have 98SE running on a second machine. They are networked. I was
able to access the internet from the 98SE machine just fine, yesterday.
Today, it is no longer working. I have no idea what I did to break it. I've
been through several different troubleshooting scenerios and can't seem to
find out what's wrong.
When I look at the Properties of the "LAN or High-Speed Internet" "Local
Area Connection" on the Network Connections tab, the Advanced tab does not
have the Internet Connection Sharing check boxes, as shown in some of the
trouble shooting screen shots I've seen. It just has the Internet Connection
Firewall check box. Why don't I have all the check boxes?
Both computers can see each other from My Network Places.
Any ideas?
