I have an old Windows Me desktop and a XP Pro laptop running on my home network. I have set them up in a workgroup. The Me machine can browse, read and write to the shared files on the XP machine with no problem.
The XP finds the Me when I browse all machines in the workgroup but I get this msg when I try to access the desktop Me machine
//Hpdesk is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource.
