Two computer network both Windows XP Pro. 1 desktop; 1
laptop. Netgear router using DHCP both computers get
valid IP address and both can get to the Internet.
Laptop can see desktop C drive and print to desktop
shared printer. Desktop is blind unable even to see
itself in network places. Workgroup name is visible to
desktop. Have installed different network card and
swapped router ports. Accidentally renamed desktop
computer name to name of user and rebooted before
detection then switched it back. ???
