I have a small peer to peer LAN with a LinkSys hub. I am
adding a third computer. The 2 computers can be seen in
the workgroup which is AZTECH and share resources back and
forth. I have checked the workgroup name and re-entered it
several times. The new computer can not see the others and
can not even see itself in the workgroup. The computer in
question is running XP Home, has a 3com Fast Ethernet NIC,
and I have installed Client for Microsoft networks, File
and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks, QoS Packet
Scheduler, TCP/IP, and I added Netbeui when this did not
work on the LAN. I have completely removed the Windows
Networking and re-installed them. I have swapped the
cables and the ports and the original computers continue
to work but not the new one. All computers can access the
internet and ping each other through the TCP/IP protocol.
But I can not see nor share resources from or to the new
computer over the LAN. I ran IPCOMFIG /ALL on the new
computer and one that works. See below:
