I have a desktop computer that connects to our office's
wireless network. The connection works fine, but this
one computer keeps losing its connection. We have
replaced the Ethernet card with a wireless card, but it
didn't solve the problem. These network losses seem to
be totally random. The computer can remain online for
anything from an hour to 4 before losing the connection.

I found the following error in the event viewer: "The
master browser has received a server announcement from
the computer xxx that believes that it is the master
browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip
{9066...... The master browser is stopping or an
election is being forced."

All computers on the network run Microsoft XP (Home and
Professional).
