Problem with Network Connection

In the Network Connection Folder, nothing happens when I right click and then click properties on my AOL connection. Clicking change settings of this connection does not work either. I tried the solutions in the microsoft knowledge base like making sure telephony was started, deleting the next ID key in my registry, and none of it worked!
