Can't access shared folders on network

I'm using XP pro, I have the network setup with the same
workgroup name and I can see the share folders on each of
the computers but get an error message when I try to
transfer files from my laptop to my desktop:

\\xxxxx\xx Pics is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the
administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions.

Not enough server storage is available to process this
command.

What server? and I am the administrator and haven't put
anything special to access the network. I share an
internet connection and the ICF isn't set.
Any Ideas? Thanks JusMe
