What is it with you dudes and chainsaws?

I'd start by purging IE's web cache, history, offline folders and all
online content, and then try finding and renaming away any files
called "HOSTS" (exactly that name; no extension). I'd also try things
other than IE; Ping, Netscape, that sort of thing.
