Hello, I'm running an emachine T1360 w/ Windows XP Home

When I try to repair the connection I get the message:
Repair operation failed: Purging the Dns resolver Cache
and sometimes I can't connect to the internet and the
other message is Can't renew ip address.

I have tried just about everything I can: Pinging,
uninstalling service pack 1,using adaware
program, updating driver for network card, using a program
that fixes my winsockets and changes registry info,
flushing dns, renewing ip address, checked all connections
and setting about 100 times and their all correct,
contacted my internet service provider which is Wave
broadband but they had no clue.

All the lights on the modem are lit. They said that the
modem is working so theirs nothing they could do about
it.

Does anyone have any idease at all????????

Only sometimes it lets my renew the ip address but it
won't let me flush the dns. Sometimes I can't connect at
all.
