Message: i was attempting to free up some space on my hard drive by doing
a
defragmentation, however during the process something happened and now my
computer has no sound. when i went into sound and audio device and looked
at
the hardware the audio codec, legacy audio driver, and media control
devices
location was unknown. i could only guess thats the reason i no longer have
sound. When i try to play a song on itunes i get this message (itunes has
detected a problem with your audio configuration audio/video playback may
not
operate properly) can anyone help me out?
Re-install the drivers for your sound card.
Cheers,
Jerry
