windows media player removal

Recently I had a trojan on my computer and using various tools to delete
it I managed to remove it. and now I find that I have a problem with wmp11.
I wanted to remove it so I went into add and remove programs but kept on
getting a message saying "close all programs before you roll back" .My
problem is I have not got any programs running . How can I remove WMP11 ?
