I'm buring CD's using the Media Player with Windows Vista and they are not
playing in my older laptop that uses Media Player 10 with Windows XP.

The CD's play fine in the car and stero but not in my other laptop. Any
suggestions??

You say "old" laptop - CD player/burner knackered ? Does anything play on
it ? Tried cleaning the lens ?

Cheers,
Jerry
