Hey Shaun,
I put the original win xp disk in and did a refresh install(I was told
that
was what it was called).Everything went smoothly.Just overwrote the first
install. The reason.....wanted to learn.I have been to the device manager
on
numerous occasions and I am not sure on wether I did that procedure or
not.I
have rebooted after every attempt, for whatever I was doing. If this is
SR,let
me know when u will b in town.

The other day I did a "Refresh install".Now,my PC makes absolutely no
sound
at all. After going thru the device manager, trouble shooting, and a list
of
suggestions an arms length long,I am told,by my PC that........."DRIVER
ENABLED BUT NOT STARTED". I have posted this question on yahoo
answers,asked
around, and you would think someone knows how to start this Driver, but
NOOOOO.
HELP = HOW DO I FIX "DRIVER ENABLED BUT NOT STARTED"????
So that I may have my sound back.
NOTE: I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW TO "START" MY "ENABLED DRIVER".
