can any body help with this problem . when i try to copy music from a dvd

dvd i get disc read error or cycle redundency check and the disc won,t

. I have tryed using roxio easy cd dvd creater 6 and i have used nero but
both come back with the same problems. I have tryd updating my dvd copyer
but its still not working ,allso some times when i put a blank dvd disc in

d drive all the short cuts around my desk top dissapear including the
start
button ,when i eject the disc the reappear any suggestions
Personally I would only specialise in one software. It is possible to have
conflicts with having several burning software on a PC.
If its, for example, Nero, delete/uninstall Roxio and disable IMAPI CD
Burning ROM Com Service (the WMP option to burn CD's/DVD's) in Services.
Did that work ?

PS : Right click on My Computer > Manage > Services & Applications >
Services > IMAPI etc to disable WMP Burning.
