Which is the better quality of sound?
MP3 track played on MP3 player or original CD played on CD player ?
And where does one find the best quality MP3 tunes?
Sorry, I'm a novice.
BAQ
CD on a CD player.
When you transform/rip into MP3 format you compress the "song" by cutting
out some of the unused frequencies. Therefore there is a loss of quality.
A Bitrate of 128 should in theory equal CD quality, but the truth is there
is a loss of some of the very high and very low frequencies. You can step
the Bitrate up to 320 which should in theory be better than CD quality, but
how can that be ..... ? Anyway, I doubt, unless you're an expert on Hi Fi
sound or a sound engineer that you could tell the diffrence unles you really
concentrated (although certainly some would disagree).
Google for mp3 sites, paying (of course). Or, if you're a pirate etc, you
can use eMule or WinMX etc to download things illegally. Your choice.
Cheers,
Jerry
